A fun shot that tastes like the spices in pumpkin pie. You can light this one on fire for entertainment! Shot is best with Goldschlager but 151 needs to be used to make it light. Great for Halloween!
• 1/3-1/2 ounce Kahlua
• 1/3 ounce Baileys Irish Cream
• 1/3 ounce goldschlager
• cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
1. Add Bailey's, Goldschlager and Kahlua to an ice filled shaker and shake.
2. Pour into shot glasses.
3. You can ignite the shot by adding 151 to the top and sprinkle cinnamon on the flame to "cook" and for dramatic effect.
4. Blow out and serve.

July 2010
American Flag
Ingredients:
1/3 Grenadine
1/3 Crème de Cacao
1/3 Blue Curacao
When prepared properly this shot will look red, white, and blue, and taste like a chocolate covered cherry. First pour the grenadine, then the Crème de Cacao then the Blue Curacao. This recipe can be used to make one shot, or several.
Why the American Flag?
Because Independence Day starts the month off right! This drink is both delicious and patriotic. You can also use it in June for Flag Day, September for Labor Day, May for Memorial Day, and even November for Veteran's Day! Who doesn't love the taste of chocolate covered cherries?!? You and your friends and family can toast your country with this festive shot.
June 2010
Sex on Acid
1 part Jagermeister
1/2 oz Midori melon liqueur
1/2 oz black raspberry liqueur
1/2 oz pineapple juice
1/4 oz cranberry juice
Shake ingredients with ice and then serve as a shot.
***For a touch of fancy, rim the shot glasses with colored sugar. Dip glass in lime juice, then dip rim in your favorite colored sugar.
Why Sex on Acid?
Because everything is sexy during the summer! Summer is the time for hot nights and cool drinks. And because everything seems a little lazier when summer starts in June, you will have plenty of time to kick back and relax with your friends and this delicious (and strong!) shot.
Pancho VillaMay 2010
For our may drink of the month, we have two recipes. The first one is a festive looking cocktail that will be great on Cinco de Mayo. The second is a refreshing, sweet cocktail that you can imbibe with anytime.
Festive Cinco de Mayo Pancho Villa
1/2 oz. Green Chartreuse
1/2 oz. Creme de Noyaux
1/2 oz. gold tequila
1/2 oz. 151 Rum
lime slices for garnish
Layer liquors in order of recipe from top to bottom in a glass. Garnish glass with lime slices.
Traditional Pancho Villa
1 oz. light rum
1 oz. gin
1/2 oz. apricot brandy
1 tsp. cherry liquer
1 tsp. pineapple juice
Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with lime slices. Best served cold.
Why the Pancho Villa?
Because of Cinco de Mayo! We decided to veer away from the traditional margarita's and Corona's and give our Slackers something new to celebrate the Mexican holiday. In our festive version of this drink recipe, the layers of the drink resemble the colors of the Mexican flag. AND this drink packs a punch! We also gave the traditional recipe, which is a sweet, refreshing cocktail that you can drink anytime.
The Jolly JokerApril 2010
2 ounces of your favorite non-flavored vodka
1 piece of your favorite Jolly Rancher candy (grape pictured)
Put piece of candy in the bottom of the glass. Cover with vodka. Let sit one hour at room temperature so candy can dissolve. Then serve, or place in freezer til chilled and drink!
***Another alternative is to steep your vodka with candy overnight. Get an empty liquor bottle, and place 10 pieces of your favorite flavor of Jolly Rancher in the bottom. Cover with 20 ounces of your favorite non-flavored vodka. Let sit overnight at room temperature until the candy dissolves. Serve chilled.
Why The Jolly Joker:
Well, because it's April Fool's of course! You could always play a practical joke by serving someone water instead of a clear liquor. But you can also make this tasty drink with a fun name! April Fool's started centuries ago when the calendar was changed from the start of the year being in April to January. In the U.S. and other countries people celebrate by playing jokes on one another. We suggest you make The Jolly Joker and have a toast to all the jokes and jokers that April brings!
Because it's the month where we celebrate St. Patrick's Day!March 2010
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
1/2 oz Drambuie
1 Tbs lemon juice
Ice
Ginger Ale
Lemon slice, thinly cut
Combine whiskey, Drambuie, lemon juice, and ice into a shaker. Shake til chilled, then strain into a glass. Top with ginger ale and garnish with lemon slice. If you want to have a more green tint to the drink, add one or two drops of green food coloring.
Why the Dancing Leprechaun:
Because it's the month where we celebrate St. Patrick's Day! And what better to celebrate the holiday then with a little Irish whiskey and a drink that has "leprechaun" in it's title? While the drink's ingredients don't lend themselves to a finished product that's green, you can always add a dash of green food coloring on St. Pat's day to celebrate in style.
Bourbon SlushFebruary 2010
2 cups bourbon
1 large can frozen orange juice
1 large can frozen lemonade
8 cups boiling water
1 & 1/2 cups sugar
1 jar maraschino cherries
4 tea bags
2 cups hot water
lemon-lime soda (or orange soda)
Steep tea bags in 2 cups hot water. Remove tea bags. Mix tea and all other ingredients (soda) together. Freeze in container for 24 hours. When ready to serve, scoop slush into glass and add some lemon-lime soda to make slushy. You could also substitute orange soda for lemon-lime for more of an orange kick. Enjoy!
Why Bourbon Slush:
It's our good friend Q's birthday month, and in honor of that we have used one of his favorite ingredients in our drink of the month, bourbon! Bourbon slush is a tasty frozen treat, even if people don't care for bourbon straight up. It's also a great recipe for a party, and this year the Super Bowl falls in February so make it for your Super Bowl party!
